Swell’s Brewing is a local microbrewery that offers a variety of craft beers, including IPAs, stouts, and lagers. Visitors can take a tour of the brewery, sample some of the beers, enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, and catch some local live music. Take a sailing cruise with Coastal Sols
Coastal Sols offers sailing cruises that allow visitors to explore the beautiful waters surrounding the Outer Banks. Their day and sunset cruises include a hand-crafted charcuterie board and complimentary drinks. Indulge in Surfin Spoon
Surfin Spoon is a unique frozen yogurt shop that allows visitors to create their own custom frozen yogurt creations. Keep an eye out for their delicious grab-n-go ice cream sammies at lots of local restaurants and breweries up the beach. You won’t want to leave the Outer Banks without making a post-beach stop here.

Road trip to the Bodie Island Lighthouse

Shop at the Local Art and Farmer’s Market
Visitors looking for fresh, local produce and unique souvenirs can shop at the Secotan or Dowdy Farmers Market. Both markets offer a variety of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade crafts, and local goods. The Dowdy Market is held every Thursday from June 15 through August 17, from 9 am until 1 pm. The Secotan Market is held every Saturday May – September, 8am -12pm.
Visit Island Farm
